Glad you're home but, Yikes! Snake and a big one. Not my cup of tea and I would still be screaming and pissing my pants. Just what is a pitfall trap? I am assuning some creature falls into it and you go and collect it. Right? Less that a month and we'll be there.

a pitfall trap is when you dig a hole in the ground, stick a plastic bucket in it, fill it with water and soap or alcohol, then wait for it to collect bugs.
