I've got Intro to Creative Writing with Danna this quarter - and, aside from being at 8:30 in the morning, I like it. The books she had us get are interesting (and not overly expensive), and we've been writing at least one poem a week. I think we start prose writing next week, and thus far I've found the exercises very helpful.

Oh, and my first quarter back from Germany, I didn't take any German. I brought books and DVDs back, and that worked for me.

That's sad that you can't take Social Context... etc. because I'm taking it now, and besides being terribly time-consuming to type, it's AWESOME and pretty stress-free. No tests, fun projects, GREAT professor and they're never offering it again =(

intro to creative writing!
because i have no doubt my life would be changed by reading what you come up with.
because i'm probably going to take adv. fiction and we could trade stories.
because you could always write in spanish.
because i'm selfish and what my friends to be happy and because you're writing would undoubtedly make you happy and me happy.

I'm attempting to get into Intro to Creative Writing next quarter. I'm either double-majoring or minoring in English so... yeah!

You deserve to take a class that both interests you and meshes with what you are already taking. If that is creative writing, go for it!
