☆ - Terry Bogard - Rock's surrogate father, and in his eyes, will always be his real father, no matter what anyone says. Sure they have their disagreements, but that's normal for any family. But both Rock and Terry know that if the other was in trouble, the other would be there in an instant to help.
☆ - Marie Heinlein - Rock's mother. He cared for her while she was sick, and because of her getting sick, that was when he ended up making his fateful trip to the Tower and his short stint with living with Geese. It's also because of her death that he ended up working with Kain in the first place. Despite these negative associations, he always and forever will care about his mommy. ;;
☆ - Ichigo Kurosaki - Through all the shit that Rock's been through thanks to his own family and the comm, Ichigo's been there for most of it. The two of them originally connected when Rock was being plagued by nightmares of his father, Geese Howard, trying to take over his body. The two have bonded considerably over the last few months, and they're always there for each other when things go down. Honestly, Rock thinks of Ichigo as the little brother he never had, and he's always willing to help him out if necessary.
☆ - Tidus - Another person that Rock considers to be like the family he never had, Tidus had been there for him for most of what's happened to him so far. He also offered Rock a place to stay while he was recuperating from the incident where he was possessed by Shuyin and after he confronted Kain about the Zero Cannon.
☆ - Rukia Kuchiki - Another one of his closest friends, Rukia's among those that have been there for him for everything. Rock was even willing to help fight when she was temporarily turned into a Hollow thanks to Eris, despite Ichigo's initial protests.

☆ - Jae Hoon Kim - The younger of Kim's sons, he and Rock are pretty alike in nature - generally serious and no-nonsense. Rock's known him and his brother since they were kids. The Kim brothers were among the first to simply accept Rock as who he was and not just as Geese's son.
☆ - Dong Hwan Kim - Jae Hoon's older brother, another childhood friend of Rock's. He's almost the polar opposite of Jae Hoon - loud, obnoxious, lazy, and somewhat of a pervert. [And he wonders why he can't keep a steady girlfriend.] Like Jae, he was one of the first kids to see Rock as himself and not in the shadow of his father.

☆ - Byakuya Kuchiki - Rukia's older brother. He gets along with him decently, but Byakuya doesn't seem to reciprocate it all that much. Rock will try and help him out when he can, but even if he is a shinigami captain, he doesn't exactly like to use formalities. Mostly because he's more of a "you need to earn my respect first, then I'll acknowledge it." Though now that he's fought alongside and against [against his will, mind you] him, he's starting to see more from his position. Doesn't mean that he won't call him out on it once in a while against better judgment, though.
