 The next day at school, there’s no teasing, no harassment, just nothing. Noah doesn’t know what Luke’s told them, but Kevin and the boys leave him alone, which suits him just fine. He’s perfectly happy to go back to the way things were.
Except for one small thing. Luke.
Noah tries to talk to Luke, but Noah gets the impression that Luke is avoiding

Luke is behaving very badly toward Noah, but then I guess we can understand what with the violent pressure from home and the general pressure from school and friends... But Noah's right... Noah is the only person who really knows him...

Poor Noah having to deal with being ignored and then having to hear all that hate from Luke. Feel for Luke though... no wonder he's scared to admit he's gay with a father like Damien and friends like Kevin.
