The Israelis are perfectly capable of dealing with the fools, but it most certainly defies common sense.

Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah take their marching orders from Teheran--not from Ramallah. Attacking Iran would be vastly more productive then getting involved in house-to-house urban combat with Hamas cells. The previously mentioned groups and Al-Queda are all coordinating with Iran.
