Aside from Versus development, I've found myself COMPLETELY immersed into Eve Online. What a great fucking game. I love it's open-endedness. I can do anything in that game, and most of all, it encouraged by the devs.

Screw you, teddybears! :P

I played it in beta. . . I would assume they have improved the game since then. At launch, it seemed to be a "shooting a little orange line at rocks" simulator.

Free 14 days and the client download. It's what got me hooked. I had played in the old version, but was overwhelmed from all the shit coming into my face at once, and didn't really like the controls (I was just coming down from Earth and Beyond shutting down /sniff), and had no help whatsoever from experienced players. This time, I've got TONS of help, and I'm deep into the game.

The best part? It's taught me some SERIOUS time management. *LOL* Now I can time my skill training around my work schedule and stuff like that. I LOVE that skill system, because it means I don't lose at the game for having a life.
