So, LONG ass story time, with the aforementioned pics at the end.

So we went to the hospital on the 3rd to be induced at 0930 ish, and the rollercoaster of hell began. Everything went smoothly until 4cm, when she started having strong contractions due to the constant flow of meds. But she pushed through it and got to 6cm in an hour, Yay! Gets her

They're nice, until they quit working when needed most. *LOL*

For sore boobs, tell her to get in the shower and let the warm water run on them for about 5 minutes. When she's done nursing, use cold packs (frozen bags of veggies work great)

For sore nipples: Buy some lanolin. Lansinoh is the best brand. You don't need to rinse it off. And if they get really, reall bad, alternate the lanolin with polysporin oitment. Again, that doesn't need to be rinsed off before nursing.

The first three weeks are the hardest, but you'll both feel great if she keeps it up. Tell her to drink lots and lots of water, that really helps.
