So, Jacob's being good, he wakes up once a night, easts, and goes back to sleep.

Belly button and peepee are both healed/normal.

Only bad thing? Alisha's milk still hasn't come in (She's still trying tho) so he's usually getting a bottle.

Anyway, here's another picture. :)

YAY! )

About the milk- Nurse, nurse, nurse, nurse, nurse, nurse, nurse. I know he's hungry, so your first thought is to hand him the bottle. This will only further delay her milk coming in and may lead to it never coming in at all.

Make sure she's drinking enough water that she'll practically float. Have a bowl (or two) of oatmeal every day.

When she is feeding him, she can do breast compressions. I did this and my milk was in by day 4. Quickly, but gently, squeeze the breast, then slowly release. Have her do this throughout every feeding.

Are there Lactation nurses/consultants at the base hospital? If there are, and you aren't working with them already, you really need to. You're in Okinawa, right? Here's the link for the La Leche League group there- http://www.lalecheleague.org/Okinawa.html
