Due to various circumstances, all my kids ended up formula fed. Jacob'll be okay on it, I'd imagine. Reading about him makes me think so much of Amy. *lol* She was strong like that (still is, actually X.x), and so happy most of the time.

Love for that cutie Jacob, and good wishes for all of you. =o)

What type of bottles are you using? That will definitley have an effect on the colic. Try getting bottles with the colapsable disposable liners; less cleaning and less air which means less gas.

Try to find Gripe Water, either online or in a store. It does wonders for colic.

And if all else fails, talk to your pediatrician to try a different type of formula.

Yeah, we love the dropins. it's all we've used. We actually think (from a book we read) that it may just be him burning off excess energy so he can fall asleep. We read that babies will sometimes cry to do this, and the way they described it is exactly what happens:

He'll sleep for a bit, wake up, cry for 10 minutes, and then crash again, and do it all over again. He usually sleeps for 2 hours at a time, sometimes more.

So we don't really think it's colic anymore, just that he's an energetic lil shit. :P
