Hey Abby. I was wondering if you could help me out with something. I'm doing a group project on home schooling vs. public schooling, and my job is to present the negative aspects of home schooling (I don't think home schooling is bad, by the way. That's just the part of the project I was assigned).

I know that you probably like being home schooled, but I was wondering if there is anything you don't like about it?

I know that home schoolers don't fit the stereotype of being antisocial, etc, but do you feel like you interact a lot with people who are vastly different from you in race, religious beliefs, and social class?

Do you find that a lot of people think you are "weird" because you are home schooled, and if so, how do you deal with that?

If you have a chance to get back to me, that would be great. If not, it won't ruin the project...I just thought I would try to get a home schooler's point of view. Thanks!!

Oh wow, that was a quick reply. Thanks so much! That will definitely help me out. And one more question I forgot to ask: Since home schooling means you spend a lot of time and are really close with your family, do you feel like it will be harder for you to be away from your family when you leave to go to college/move out on your own?

And to answer your question, yes, it will/is making it harder to leave my family. I luv them all so much...we be tight. ;P Hopefully we'll always be that way.
