I'd just like to say that you shouldn't believe a thing the doctors say. I kno you might not want to hear a thing I have to say...but my grandpa has a form of lou gherigs(sp?) disease. The only thing he can move is his neck and head. He honestly wasn't going to make it a while back...but he's still alive and the doctors think its a miracle. Even when he died twice in one night...it was a miracle to have people there giving him cpr and saving his life. So, really don't let your dad get down in the dumps because of what the doctors say...yes be prepared...but don't believe that he has only 6 months. Because those 6 months could turn into 6 years, or even longer... As long as you tell him to stay strong...he will. As long as he wants to live...he will. I just wanted to say that. I hope your dad gets better.
