NaNoWriMo starts on tuesday.

and I have no clue what to write.

For those of you who don't know what it is it's National Novel Writing Month. In November if you participate you have to attempt to write 50,000 words of a novel. It has to be something you start on November 1st not before. It can come from old ideas but has to be new writing.

I could never do NaNoWriMo. Asides from the fact that I only work on one piece at a time and thus I have one going already, I couldn't manage 50K in a month just for its own sake. I tend to write more slowly to get it right the first time, so if it's not coming, I leave it. Kudos to anyone who manages it as it's pretty impressive! Instead, I'm doing extra quiz writing instead of novel writing next month. :)

As for Hallowe'en, it's not really a big deal for me, so my sister and I are just going to watch scary movies. :)

I've attempted before, but I never actually did anything with the ideas I had. But this time, it just feels right. So I'm doing it. Good luck. :)

For Halloween, I'm being a leopard.

I wish I had the motivation to do NaNoWriMo. I'm never prepared for it, and then by the time I decide to do write something, it's January or February. lol

good luck!

I want to do NaNo again to get back in the writing habit. The last time I wrote regularly was early 2009, as I was wrapping up the first draft of my most recent novel. And since NaNo's good for kick-starting the writing process, it seems like a perfect opportunity. I just don't know how to schedule writing time in a small house with a toddler on the loose.

I'm also attempting NaNo this year and I'm still *completely* clueless as to what my novel's going to be. Which makes me really nervous... but hey, the motto's No Plot, No Problem right? Right?! *nervous laughter*
