ugh, i hate it when people stop ed from doing his thang. i guess it's your interpretation, so i'll continue with this to see if I become less annoyed at the characters. i look forward to see where this goes :)

Trust me, Edward won't behave for very long. But as I see it, Alphonse would listen to Mustang and is used to dealing with ed's tantrums, so he would only naturally try to drag Ed from trouble. Likewise, Roy would try to keep the brothers from the fight and try to fight on his own. Story of Ed's life.
