Those are you and your friends during your time in heaven. Konzen is the monk you know as Genjo Sanzo. Tenpou is Cho Hakkai and Kenran is Sha Gojyo.

I have told you or hinted at it already, Son Goku. I am Homura Taichi as I have....already said and knew all of you from before your present incarnation.

Your memory was taken from you as punishment for your sins, though your crimes are as mine. They are foundless and more to do with the heresy of being born than any true wrongdoing or so I believe. As to what happened, continue searching for this...novel or whatever you have found and it will tell you.

The 39 pairings is Sanzo/Goku. Taken from the pieces of their names in Japanese (SAN=3, KU->KYU=9). So, like, a heretic sandwich would be like.. Homura/Sanzo/Goku? Or something.

Oh sure, let me just hop into my TIME MACHINE and head on back to the Tang Dynasty or whatever schitzotech version of it you guys live in. :B

What kind of insane idiot would assign numbers to a person's name and then turn it into a.....you're one of those fangirls aren't you?
