When I had patella issues over a decade ago, this is what I did:

(1) Took over a month off of running.
(2) Do quad-strengthening exercises... weighted leg extensions and upright exercise bike with the resistance turned way up so you have to get out of your seat to pedal.

I haven't had patella issues since.

Not sure if it's the same thing you're dealing with though.

What is she, a veterinarian? I guess you really do get what you pay for!

I bet if you turned her upside-down, she'd have a label that says "Made in England."
