it's not quite as dark as you remember your Thursdays once were, but there's always 80s night at Heaven (& Hell) in Adams Morgan; which I'm going to show up for next week as a friend is celebrating being old. My celebrations of course come at the end of the month.

and of course, its an excuse to find underfiend - then again, one doesn't really need an excuse, but that's an excuse for having an excuse.

I had no idea how long your last name was until now

I know 130 years ago neat Vinnitsya, the fam was Lyssanshtenko (or something like that), but that was a long time ago

I have been mum on plans here and in the Avenue as I was waiting foolishly for economic stimulus money. BUT, as I had to pay taxes, even though I requested direct deposit, I have to wait for the #$&^* paper check. So, perhaps for the fall tour I can be ready.

Likely going with accomplices down to Richmond. Some of the group was gonig straight to NYC and haning out at Mehanata on Thursday. That has now collapsed so plans may change. If I can fanagle a ride to NYC I will. I'm good for a place to crash in the city. Probably follow the masses in the transport means to Philly, and from there I think I have a ride back to DC from a bartender I know/ now 100%, but I think that's the likely scenario - absinthe induced travails notwithstanding of course

Hm, I'm going to be in Richmond a day or two early, which I'm guessing doesn't work for you, trying to stalk GB a day early...then driving up to Brooklyn, then driving to Philly. If your bartender doesn't work out you can join me from Richmond to Brooklyn.

I'm trying to get a big caravan together for the Brooklyn to Philly, so far, if you're in, it's 4 people, and if I can get a more accurate headcount from the Avenue perhaps it's worth going Brooklyn to Philly in a van...
