I'm so happy to hear that the Good stuff is outweighing the Bad and the Ugly. Congrats about the girlfriend and the new apartment! I'll be thinking of you with regard to the surgery and recovery.

Good luck finding a home for the kitty!

And happy birthday!

I am very happy to hear about your wonderful girlfriend and that she is bringing you such great joy, particularly in the face of the great challenges you have been faced with this year.

I hope that you are able to focus on the good as you move forward through the rest of this year. I know it must have been difficult to suffer the losses that you've suffered this year. I wish you much luck with the surgery, and hope that you find that the tumor truly is benign and that you are able to move on from this and recover quickly without more stress and questions.

I thought of you on your birthday - I think of you every year, because of that dreadful bunny hop story.

Please know that I am thinking of you, and I'm relieved to know that you have great joy in your life through all of this.

Hey, it's been forever, but wanted to say get well soon (I hope it's nothing), and sorry for your losses this year; however congratulations on all the good things (especially the moving in together - so much fun!!).

I find it interesting that you have removed the comments that question your decision about getting rid of your cat.

I have because I personally find them insulting. I don't see the point in opening a full discussion on a decision that I have made and have to live with. And while the initial commenter is someone I know and happen to disagree with on this point, the second chose to be unknown.

And Frankly, the comments didn't question the fact the cat was going - they questioned why I was being preferential to my girlfriend. If someone is really that concerned about the welfare of the cat, then I would hope they would be helpful in providing suggestions and/or resources (or better yet a new owner) that he may find a new home, and soon.
