I can't find my running shoes, because my room is a mess. I have too much stuff. I don't know what country I want to live, which determines in part how much stuff I should have. Do I move out of the Twin Cities? I have been in a candy coma for the past few days. Sleep followed by candy followed by sleep. I justify this by saying that I have worked ( Read more... )

Did I miss you today or did you not make it? If it was the former, I'm sorry.

p.s. the event is Thursday. My bad.

1) I have some extra running shoes laying around, size 7.5.
2) I'm almost done training my first class! Life will be a little more sane soon. At least, until the next class.
3) I miss you. You are MY hero. Talk soon?

PS I want you to be happy, but selfishly I don't want you to ever move away, even though we don't actually see each other often. At least there's the possibility of seeing each other. If you lived in Brazil forever, the possibility would be very, very small and I would be very, very sad.

the beautiful frustrating thing about life, no matter what level of mess, is that 1) everything returns to the center and 2) thus it must always keep going. even dying is a processes, not just an event.

why should this be comforting?

excellent question!

because! you cannot do shit all to stop either of them.

my sister Izzy and I have narrowed down this philosophy to just say to each other "car accident". No one plans for one, or expects one, but yet we are all "insured" for them. Messed up...or oddly comforting?

If you want to go hide in northern california for a bit I can hook you up with work, housing, ...etc....messed up...or oddly comforting?

breathe babe...candy is okay...wean back to just a Jolly Rancher or two a day...one step at a time.
