Well there was a lot of shit going on. For all the screaming people were doing about that release, we didn't really get a response at all. Then we get a comment like that and agh =/

If this is about that comment on the slayers community, then think of this instead.

Even if that was a joke--a pretty tactless one at that--one sourpuss shouldn't get to you as much as all the "thank you"s should!

And if you didn't get that many thanks on the last release, it's not because no one's thankful. In fact, it's probably the same reason why I don't always say "thanks" on every release you or other groups finish--I don't like to seem repetative and I always assume that people know their work is appreciated even though that's probably not the best way to think.

^^ Cheer up, everyone loves you and mel's releases, Slayers or not. :D

(BTW, I haven't had a chance to read the latest release yet, but I'm sure you guys did great and I really appreciate your hard work on this so so much.)

Actually, and I was really surprised about this, the response to Falces was absolutely abysmal! Really, the amount of hits to the site were only barely above our usual rate, which was surprising considering how much people were clamoring over it. So normally the thanks would make up for it, but not this time, that's for sure ;_;

BTW, even if it's repetitive, we do like to hear people say thank you... because many times it really doesn't feel like the work is appreciated (this case being one of the more extreme examples, I must admit). I don't have much of a right to say this because Reb does most of the work, but... well, yeah.

No, you're entitled to feel that way because you do work on the scanlations, no matter how big or small your part on it is. And you do the scanning and editing, right? I don't know about editing, but scanning is a huge pain, and if it weren't for someone scanning in a scanlation team, then that team wouldn't get very far, now would they?

Well, I'll make sure I say thank you every time I download a new chapter from now on. :) Not just because you said this, but also because what you guys do is something you do in your free time and without any pay. It's not something you're required to do and it bothers me when people complain over stuff like that. So it's really a huge favor to the Slayers community and the other communities as well.
