He's not supposed to SOUND tired, given the fact that he had not done anything for pretty much two days now, but he does, it only served to irritate him more. Hibari didn't bother to look at Mukuro as the other came in. He was starting to get somewhere, with this whole 'stare-at-the-ceiling-until-something-interesting-comes-to-mind' thing.

Sitting down in an available seat, Mukuro relaxed, having finally be able rid of a day's work.
"I'm surprised you're not working here. Unless you finished it all," he mused, glancing at Hibari from the corner of his eye.

No use hiding it. Mukuro was going to find some way to tease him either way. Saying the truth also opened up the possibility for finding something ELSE to do.
"Things must be busy over on your end."

And it's Xanxus' favorite.
No one, of course, had to know that Hibari kept that particular bottle around for that sole reason.
"He might, he might not. He does what he wants."

And one glass was probably that it would take for this particular drink to help him relax. Mukuro could already feel it settle into his system as he took languid sips from his glass. This was what he needed after the day's work. A small part of him thought it was rather domestic like, but such was his life now. Mostly work and little play, unless one counted the kicks he got from scaring a few of his people.
"And that sounds like you."

Hibari liked to think that they were different where it mattered and similar where it mattered, but he hadn't ever thought of Xanxus as unpredictable. At least, not the way people seemed to think he was.

He didn't have the right to say anything more, since most of the things he had were just based on observations and simple assumptions. He didn't know Xanxus like Hibari did, but he knew Hibari at least and just enough to be able to voice those simple assumptions. Of course, his old friend would probably say differently and that was where any similarities ended between the two brothers. Even he could only say so much.

"...Give me a moment."

"Take your time~" And he meant it. Perhaps he should get another glass ready.

Hibari was already moving off to the kitchen to find something for all of them to eat. He had done the groceries in a moment of misguidance and boredom the other day. There was bound to be something.

Hibari still had his head in the fridge and later in the pantries, poking around for something that would appease all of them. He was also checking if his gun as in the usual place, in case he had to debilitate the cat and keep it from doing any serious damage.
"Besides, I need someone to help me take care of your drunk ass later."

Even he had to wonder about the things that Hibari had been doing, with some suddenness at that. Though Mukuro hadn't spoken to the man in a while, he thought this was just slightly off behavior for his old friend. Was it because of the lack of work that usually occupied Hibari's mind or was it something else? The PR was probably just reading too much into this, as he usually did sometimes, but it was what saved his life on numerous occasions. Rather over think than not at all.
What intentions do you have, Skylark, if any.

The dark-haired man punctuated his statement by lifting his glass and taking a good, long draught of his drink.

Finishing the rest of the contents, he placed his glass on the table, not making a move to refill nor asking for one. Mukuro didn't need it at the moment as he let the first settle more thoroughly but he was far from drunk. He still wanted to be able to think straight after all.
Thus he continued his observation of the two.
