After several veiled threats involving much literal and figurative arm-twisting, the repair shop finally coughed out Hibari's car, a day early and perfectly polished to boot. Kusakabe came to pick up the sleek black Ferrari, and drove it towards the direction of Hibari's apartment.
His boss was on holiday.
Kusakabe would've thought the two were mutually exclusive. Though, granted, the CEO of Vongola seemed to be able to make all sorts of ...interesting things happen. He pulled the car up near a grocery store, intent on picking up a few things for Hibari, who wasn't all that great about feeding himself. Normally, since Hibari was conveniently in the office during breakfast, lunch and dinner, all Kusakabe had to do was pop in with a box of take-out. This...holiday thing was a bit more tricky. He shut the car door and entered the store.
