I bet it was just you cleaning the PS3 that fixed it. I know I have to clean my PS2 every so often in order to get shit working.
You should have filled out the prescription, silly boy, just in case you broke out again. And maybe the dry skin is from the cold? I know I randomly started getting flakey and dry about two years ago on my eyelids when it's winter. Just keep moisturizing, though you should see a doctor again if it continues for another few weeks.

Turns out it didn't work as well as I'd though. It reads PS2 and DVD's perfectly fine but it's refusing to play PS3 games and PS3 games are...you, what it was made for. I'm gonna have to get it check out now most likely.
