Sociology Paper

If anyone knows of any good resources/sites on the idea of a photograph capturing part of one's soul, lemme know please...

I've found a couple forums on the topic/belief, but I'd like something a little more academically reliable. Or rather, my professor would like something a little more academically reliable.

Is that the idea where you could develop and unused roll that was in someone's prescence, who has certain abilities, and their thoughts and beliefs would develop?

Not especially...that's a little more paranormal than I expect to be getting in the course of my paper.

Thanks for the reply though :)

i can't tell you any sites off the top of my head, and well hey, maybe you don't need them anymore. Anywho, i was just wondering if you're talking about how they used to (and some still do) take pictures of the dead for that purpose...or something like that, i don't know, i can't think, my eyes keep trying to close themselves and are getting angry with me because i won't let them!! bbye for now - Jules

Now that you mention it, that's something I kinda forgot about...there was an X Files about a guy trying to capture the soul at the moment it escapes the human vessel.

I actually meant something a little different. Evidently several indigenous people all over the world (though I've only been able to find reliable evidence of it in reference to strict Muslims and some Native Americans) believe that a camera will not only take away an image of them, but also a fragment of their soul...evidently preventing their soul from crossing from the material to ethereal plane.

Thanks Jules...
