long day today. i decided that i'm probably going to move, though. my apartment is very unique, but i'm finally facing up to the fact that i could do better in a lot of ways. chiefly it's that i can't afford it on my own and it's just not a good place to live with a roommate. it's big enough, but the bathroom is only connected to my roommate's room

I'm living in a place with a washer/dryer for the first time in 9 years. I love it. I vote you go for the washer/dryer. Although every time I fall for the "easygoing landlord" I get roayally screwed when the house needs repairs and it takes months and months of nagging to get it done.

Wow, that sounds like it will be a better situation for you. I am sorry I haven't visited you yet. : ( I will eventually. I'm renting a little house w/ my boyfriend, so money is sorta tight, urgh. It's only for 6 months though, so who knows what I'll do then... Urgh. Okay. Bluh.
