sungyeol is the most adorable thing ever. sobs, and i say that about all my biases too so no worries! i think, for some reason, i relate to key the most? i guess he's more real to me ;; idk. hyunseung is so weird and i think at times he can be reserved, but omg, the boy is never emo.

now, given, it was more focused on key, but still that's one of my major het otps so I am in dazed shock rn. it seems a little inspired by pretty in pink which is just an adorable setting for onkey- and key as the duckie type is an interesting change to how he's usually written in this pairing. and I liked that you didn't make hyoyeon a harpy, as slash writers are wont to do. idk why, but key calling hyoyeon the luckiest girl in the world and even joking that she's too good for onew just really stayed with me. he's jealous, but there's this undercurrent of sad respect there.

and the kiseung. nnnnnngggh. they are worming their way into my heart, and this was just perfect and hot. there's something in the way Hyunseung moves his body, like this is just part of a new dance he's recently mastered and he wants Kikwang to be the first to see. to know. to feel. this line is just amazing.

i like how key doesn't come off as a jealous beotch. okay, i know he's supposed to be jealous, but it was easy to sympathize with him rather than find him annoying. it was probably he never hated on hyoyeon and kept insulting onew lol. his characterization was really good. and even though she's not written very much, i love your hyoyeon already ♥ write me more hyoyeon in the future. please please please you are so good at writing her.

This is Not Lip Service: First off, great title. I think that you stole this from the great Alanis, though. This is absolutely beautiful no matter how many times I read it. I like that Kibum's first love story isn't a typical fairy tale ending love story. It's easy and sweet. I think of Pretty in Pink at the beginning, but towards the end, I feel like I want Kibum to be right about the second round of them, like The Classic. I love that Kibum thinks of all these wonderful things to say but decides to comment on the weather.
Best line: He’ll say he dances to his own beat, but there’s only a slight change-a Vanilla Ice extra ding! of a difference. Mostly because no one else has so eloquently pointed out that the extra ding makes it completely different...keke
