Dean always functions better when he has a project in front of him. Usually this means a hunt. This time, though? It’s a list.
I usually like to live with a fic for awhile before I rec it. But in this case, as soon as I was finished reading I bookmarked it for reccing. It's just gorgeous. Dean is his usual self-sacrificing, oblivious self, Sam's absence is like a giant wound bringing the bitter, and Cas is the sweetness keeping Dean (and us) from drowning in our sorrow. I long for a sequel, but Cas's last line leaves me content with how things end if it never comes.
