My House M.D. Recs Table

Claim: House, M.D., General Series
Title: "Five Ways Dr. James Wilson Didn't Cheat on His Wife"
Author: fallen_arazil
Characters: Wilson, Stacy, Cuddy, Chase, Cameron, House
Prompt: 03. Angst.
Rating: PG-13
Length: long
Brief summary: It makes sense to me that any relationship Wilson might potentially have with any of the other characters to be angst-filled and doomed. So I love these little glimpses because even if by authorial admission they didn't happen, this is how they would have (and in some cases should have) happened.

Wilson was attracted to Allison Cameron the moment that they met, which was not that surprising. She was, after all, a beautiful woman. Beautiful, passionate, and kind. She was the sort of doctor who legitimately studied medicine in the hopes that she could save lives, and for no other reason. Wilson's first impression of her, after the beauty, was that she was in the absolute wrong department. Here was a woman who thought that the patient was the most important thing, who lived in the belief that if she tried hard enough, she could make the world a better place. He hoped that working here wouldn't break her.

At least, not any more than she was already broken.

Title: "Knot"
Author: kassrachel
Characters: House, Wilson, Cuddy
Prompt: 16. Teamwork.
Rating: NC-17
Length: long
Brief summary: There's something almost sweet about this threesome working together to potentially get Cuddy pregnant. And by 'sweet', I mean 'extremely hot'. Great interactions on many levels in this fic, and I enjoyed them all.
