I even got them to run a separate line from one of the main streets to my house to have a higher speed on my line because the installer knew that if he just cut and spliced the shared line I would get no where near the promised speed I was requested (and payed for).
Now I never actually get 20 Mbit U/D as they advertise but on peek usage I can get very close (which for me and how much I live on the net is a god send).
Oh.. I do not know if you still have a copper line for phone or not, but I was able to keep my copper (took an extra month to argue with the install tech and the customer support, but worth it). I like my phone working when I have no power for 8 or more hours... While VOIP is what they like to use, once the UPS dies after 8 hours, the phone dies with it.

Too bad for them.
(Not that Verizon is a rose garden, but they at least do do online tech support, as I have had cause to test.)
