emm.. I'm still reading the second GoT book, Clash of Kings. But if and when I come across easy leisure reads, I'll update you.

I think my endurance towards epic-sized sagas ended with LoTR. I found GoT gripping, but ultimately too violent. I stopped reading it because I got too wary of caring about any character- you never knew when they would meet a gory end.
Couldn't finish the Shannara series either.
I think I'm growing too old...
