so i am getting a new digital camera, and within my price range (around $300) i am looking for one of those fancy new ultra compact ones with the huge lcd screens, but i also think i want one that i could later purchase an underwater casing for. these are the ones i was looking at, any opinions on which i should get? :D

I recomend the Canon Powershot a620, it's the one I have and you can buy an underwater case for it. It's 7.1 megapixels and only around 350 or so.

i don't know much about cameras but i can tell you how much i totally love the fact that my screen is huge. i don't know how people work with those tiny lcd screens. my color ink ran out in my photo printer today. i printed out soo many photos. i need to make a run to best buy or comp usa.. if you ever wanna go there and check out some cameras, call me.
