i need a kick ass holiday menu ideas. i am completely stagnate and have no new ideas. i am just so not in the mood. although i will miss creating our yule card this year. so holiday favorites anyone? the more challenging the better

goose will be on the table this year. one of the few, small benefits of living on the eastern shore of maryland. it is relatively easy to find good game as in deer and geese. guys with game a little more difficult. it generally goes something like you my queen, me your king and i'll kick that guy's ass for lookin' at my girl. that kind of game. but....
how do you like yours cooked? or what do you like to go with your goose?

scott, the guy that eats all of my cooking, the only one really, is a salty/savoury guy too. and i have been trying to teach him how delicious fruit/sweet/ and especially tart is with birds. i am trying to get him to cross the fruit/meat barrier and taste how delicious the combination can be. i encourage laura to continue on expanding your taste buds.

When it comes to fowl, I love salty/savoury, but Laura's getting me into liking sweet and tart with birds, slowly.
I LOVES me some crispy bird skin.
Another thing I love at the holidays is tortier (french canadian meat pies).
