taking back sunday/ brand new show last night rocked my socks off
interesting stories the morning after
another good day at work rolls by
fought with the people at kinkos this afternoon
and have been running into a lot of old friends lately

it's a dead end bridge
with no room to turn around

just to stay on dry ground

drive to randal's island
(early, so we could see the getaway play)
talk to adorable/great Nate from Finch
saw a lot of good bands
ate some not-so-good dust
overall, amazing day.

and now... off to work

however... molly and my mother are long gone
so the house is mine for the week
feel free to come play with me

new tattoo...

the chick that did it was really cool
she did an amazing job

in other news
i will never quit my day job
because lately
i'm realizing just how lucky i am
to be knee deep in something i love

so i met my new bass player today
cute. blonde. spacey.
an okay musician
he really likes my music
i don't know if he's what i'm looking for
but maybe i'll compromise
maybe i'll finally get something done
but really, i'll probably just fuck this up too.
it's funny how things work like that
