Given how the purity craze loves to convince girls how their virginity is the only virtue they should worry about let alone the only one that will matter to your future husband, I wonder how does this effect the women who bought into it after they finally lose their virginity on their wedding night? I know that there were times in my life when I very well might have broken up with my husband, especially before we got married, if I had never had sex with him and would still have my virginity to give to somebody else. Now suffice it to say that we are very happy today and I'm glad I never left him, but that's no reason to stay with somebody.

I can understand that. I was so scared of giving it to the wrong guy or such that I ruined some potiental relationships because of it.

It's no problem. The reason I ask that is because of the heavy pressure the purity movement puts on girls that some of these programs will go as far as no lustful thoughts and I've seen how some girls will become frightened of even looking at a nude body and even begged the dean of art school they went to (I was an art major at the time) to let them skip the figure drawing class because of it.
