You are right, "teh evul relativist secular modernist lifestyle will make you a sex predator unless you give your life to teh jeesus" is incorrect. It is actually, "the evil relativist secular modernist lifestyle will make you a sex predator unless you give your life to something beyond yourself."

Agreed! I'm recalling something I saw in a medieval history class. We were looking at documents produced by monks hand-copying books in monasteries well before the printing press. Almost all of the documents that lived in monasteries, as opposed to being produced for the secular nobility, had lewd drawings scribbled in the margins. Fighting to suppress sexuality has never resulted in its elimination. But it turns out that for folks who treat it as a normal part of life, it doesn't usually take over and turn them into maniacs. When will religion learn that you can't take sexuality out of humans?

My OCD sexual thoughts largely went away once I loosened my beliefs about sex a bit.

This post is very inspiring.
It took me a while to be comfort about sexuality.
I am still a little uncomfortable about talking about it.
