In the transit I do, I listen to the radio much of the time. Pop, mostly, but the entire list of stations runs the gamut. Two of the stations that regularly get hit claim to be christian/christian rock. As I go out of my mind if I'm forced to listen to too much Michael W Smith, Rich Mullins, et al at a time, they get hopped off pretty quick. Even ( Read more... )

How’s it a “failing” in you to not like Hip Hop? *blah* Each person has their own tastes, it’s not a failing in you if you don’t like the color red or blue is it? It’s just personal taste....

And, anyway, I can’t stand most Hip Hop and could get into a big rant as to the why’s and how’s, but I’ll save you the torment... either way, I think it’s perfectly fine to have tastes other than what “most” people do, if we all agreed with everyone’s taste we’d all be the same and that’d be rather boring if you ask me.

It is a failing in me if I become forced to act on the environment to end the thing I dislike. Perhaps "conniption-inducing hatred" would be a better description, although I usually can keep it contained until the environment changes.
