Holes

So, the wisdom teeth were removed this afternoon. I suppose it was the high point of my day, but I don't actually remember it happening. I woke up easily from the anesthesia, which was suprising given my past experiences. The surgeon had piped my lower jaw full of what he called "long lasting novocaine". I just got the controlled use of my tongue

Heh. Ever since mine came out, I've had this paranoid fear that the sharp edges of the bone are going to start poking through, like Michael Jackson's nose, because I can still feel the empty sockets. I"m sure you needed to know that.

They put you out all the way? Hm.

I had all four out at once and they put me under all the way, though I had the option of just having nitrous I think. I used to play with the holes with my tongue a lot, but now I've mostly forgotten about them..I think I had them out in August 1997 so it's been like 6 years..

I may start playing with the holes in my mouth - I certainly play with the screws in my leg. But for right now, there's just enough pain in the corners of my mouth to impede that.
