Thom
The closest thing to a friend (and perhaps more) that’s come along in quite some time- so understandably, there’s a bit of overprotectiveness of him- and perhaps a bit of jealousy at the other friends he’s made.
Rook
Fellow Airman, continuous source of misery and general pain in the-well. Everything. The fact that he doesn’t seem at all fazed by the island is a bit worrisome, but no more than usual.
Havemercy
Rook’s girl- one of the finest dragons in Thremedon though she still pales in comparison to Anastasia. She’s as acerbic and sharp as her rider- perhaps more- but does not seem to hold the same sort of animosity.
Ace
Another fellow Airman- though one Balfour can at the very least be civil to. Ace is just as sharp-tongued as most of the other Airmen, though he's usually not concerned enough with people to bother, something Balfour is rather grateful for.
Joscelin Verreuil
A gentleman indeed- polite, helpful and understanding. he appears even more unenthused about the island than most, though one coukd hardly blame him.
Carrie Kelly
A charming, and rather unusual young woman with a sharp wit. Apparently a soldier, of a kind according to her, though the extent of this remains yet to be seen.
Kodachi 'The Black Rose'
Balfour's employer- a young woman who appears Ke-Han, but is far too eccentric to be really considered any such thing. Balfour is learning, however, that there is very much more to her than meets the eye.
Koriand'r
A young woman who is apparently from another planet entirely. Balfour finds her upbeat attitude and seemingly irrepressible optimism refreshing, and is rather perpetually amused by her outlook on life.
Hunter
A rather smart-mouthed, persistent young man who has, much to Balfour's distress, taken quite the interest in his love life (or lack thereof) and seems to take great pleasure in making him squirm.
Rolo Lamperouge
A disturbing child- disturbing enough, it would seem, to warrant warning from even Havemercy. Endeavors shall be made to keep far, far away from him.
