Where's MY Doctor?

Chris Eccleston was on Heroes last night. It was the first time I'd watched the show. Miraculously, it was on NBC, the one station we get on our tv.

Agh! And he doesn't mention what role he has in DiR!

I always pictured Merry as grey haired and older than Chris looks - but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be good in the part. I can't begin to guess what other part he could be cast in. As you said, he could do any of the parts. I think I need to refresh my memory and re-read the books, though. It's been at least 15 years since I last read them.

I gave a copy of DiR to a high school girl who babysits for us sometimes. Gotta spread the joy to the next generation.

Is it going to be an adaptation of the series as a whole story or do you think it will be serialized into several movies? Have you heard anything about that?

I can't believe the screeplay is being written by the guy who adapted Trainspotting. At least he's Scottish. ;) heh.
