Prompt: 07. Go (she did leave in the drabble) o.O
Please Note: this doesn't have a specific time it happened, therefore it doesn't clash with any plots. :D Also, it's not easy to really determine anything from this conversation. Most Vermouth Drabbles will be like this.
There was a dull hum emitting somewhere from deep within the bar. There was some type of music in the background, but it was hard to discern exactly what it was. Smoke thickly clouded the area as well as it was impossible to see to the door from the barstool.
“That guy’s Death anniversary is coming up, you going to visit his grave?” A man prodded the blond woman beside him, she turned a curious eye at him.
“Death Anniversary?” She repeated, taking a sip of her brandy. “Who’s?”
“That man you took your lessons from, don’t tell me you’re as bad as Gin now.” He scoffed. Vermouth tapped her lips thoughtfully as though she were thinking it over.
“No, sorry, I don’t know of anyone that died around this time.”
“The Phantom thief, of course.” The other man said gruffly. She took another drink and then offered a deep smirk.
“I wouldn’t call it a death anniversary.” She stated with a small shrug, “After all, he’d have to be dead for that.” The man beside her took a drink of whatever it was he was drinking as he chuckled at that statement.
“I suppose that’s true, but if he’s not, that person will tell you take care of it.” Vermouth took a final drink and pushed the glass aside.
“Believe me, I know exactly what that person expects.” She smiled to her drinking partner and moved towards the exit.
Did you notice!?: In game Vermouth is very well aware of why Kaitou Kid has resurfaced and who is posing as him. Notice she said NOTHING to the person she was talking too, even though it's obviously a black org member? 'What's she playing at?' you might ask, but I don't know. :/
