As a general rule, Franziska doesn't work, because she thinks it's far too plebeian for someone of her class. She gains a small but sustainable income by challenging every single trainer she crosses paths with, and makes an effort to defeat at least one trainer a day. From this, she is more or less able to support herself even without financial aid.
