--ah, you're asking about the Sudowoodo? My experience with it all comes down to it packing a pretty mean punch and really hating watering cans.

Are you insinuating that this hypothetical tree truly does exist? And that it punches people?

Mm, it does! It mostly just wiggles in place and blocks people passage... But it's actually a Pokemon, Miss Franziska von Karma. That should help make it a bit more believable, right?

Ah, so it is a pokemon. Yes, that does make it far more believable. I appreciate this particular piece of information.

After all, if it is a pokemon, then it cannot be considered as a kosher tree.

[As they are traveling together, he can hear your argument with Ken up there. Oooooh Franziska.]

I didn't flee with my tail between my legs, Franziska.

You did not inform me.

You did not think at all, Miles Edgeworth. From now on, you will notify me of your city changes so that I do not waste time and make a fool of myself searching for you after you have already left the city! Do I make myself clear?

I saw the tree! It's made out of rock so I don't know if it really counts as a tree anymore...[Ooh, or it could be a new species. A Rock Tree. Native to Johto.] But if you sprinkle water on it it'll smack ya so watch out, okay?

Aha. It is a sentient being, but it is made of rock? I can see how that cannot be classified as a tree.

And it dislikes water, you say?

Yep, it's a Pokemon. And there's a whole lot of them.

[She nods-something about this woman makes her get straight to the point...] My friend Fang poured water on it and it jumped up and smack! Right in the shoulder! It can throw boulders too! Pretty neat, huh?

[She approves of this getting to the point business. So much.] ... of course, I would not use the term 'neat' to describe this superhuman feat. However, I will say that for a rock creature to do so, it is very impressive.

Good afternoon, Miss Von Karma. [Polite smile.]

As to the tree I've yet to encounter it myself, but I believe there was a video of a woman not long ago, battling a tree Pokémon. Perhaps it is the very same creature. [He looks somewhat skeptical himself, but he's seen plenty since coming to Johto]

As for the Ponytas, the firey horses, my cousin is in possession of one. If she ever produces eggs I will be sure to inform you of it. Though I am in no pistion to take on anymore eggs myself. [He sighs slightly.] We've had quite a few recently, and since we're traveling again, it would be highly inconvenient.

Lastly, I haven't spoken to Miles since the festival, so I have no indication as to his where abouts. Just that I haven't seen him as so far as our traveling has taken us.

[Have a tight nod of acknowledgment.]

I see. Perhaps it is. Did you happen to glean the woman's name? I wish to speak to her about her experiences regarding said tree.

As for the matter of the horse -- please do, Ciel Phantomhive. I appreciate it.

And on the matter on Miles Edgeworth -- I seem to have finally come into contact with him. The nerve of that fool. He appears to have begun his travels without informing me of his intentions.

That's...the Sudowoodo, you mean. [Cough.] I wouldn't try to get past it if I were you, Ms. von Karma. Not until you get the waterbottle from Goldenrod, at least...

...and the horses are, er...Ponytas. Or Rapidashes, if you mean the bigger ones... [Sneeze.] You can catch them past Ecruteak, I think...it's a pretty longs ways from where you are, though.

[--waaaait a second there. He pauses, before suddenly realizing that she'd just said 'Miles' and 'absence' in the same sentence.]

W-Wait, hold up -- Miles is missing?! [ABUH??]

Your response has come entirely too late to be of any help or importance. I have ascertained the first two pieces of information, and as for the last, I have finally reached him.

He appears to have left the city premises without informing me of the matter.

[...urk.] Gee, excuse me for trying to help...

[But he WILL look rather interested in this last piece of information.] He...left?

Did he say why?

[and WHEN, for that matter.]
