My Ten Most Loved AU's

let the good times roll by
softlyforgotten, PG, Brendon/Ryan Spencer/Jon
Very, very nice. So nice. So good. Lovely and they are so cute and wonderful and Brendon always manages to steal my heart. And I'm okay with that.
Brendon has the feeling he’s made a terrible mistake. “Er, are you two, um, yeah, no?”
Spencer looks horrified, while Ryan makes the face that Brendon knows means he’s trying really hard not to laugh. “Best friends,” Ryan says in a funny, choked voice, “Since we were five.”
Brendon beams, and Spencer looks straight at him in a way that makes Brendon’s smile fade: Spencer seems okay, but he has this way of looking at Brendon that seems to say hi I know everything you have ever thought and will ever think and when Ryan goes to sit on the couch next to him the two have a way of unconsciously leaning together that tells Brendon he’s going to have to be really, really nice when Spencer’s around.
(And he sort of has a hunch as to where Ryan learned his bitchiness from.)

Geometry by
ninjajab, PG-13, Patrick/Keira
This has to be one of the strangest couples I've read and still, it's perfect. I know if you haven't read it you must be looking at it like what?! but if you have read it then you know it's great and brilliant and just read it, ok?
Then Keira goes on TRL and tells all of America and most of Fall Out Boy’s key demographic that Patrick is her celebrity crush. And then she’s on the cover of Rolling Stone and she mentions twice how she can’t stop listening to the new Fall Out Boy record. Cosmo asks her what her ideal man is and she says she likes a bloke with a sense of humour, a decent music collection, and, she says, “I’m liking them a bit rounder now, actually. Not really into that stereotypical, skinny, pretty-boy look. How dull, right?”
Pete is beside himself. Joe is stunned Patrick hasn’t “hit that yet,” and Andy is supportive in his mild Andy way. Patrick waits until he’s alone in his hotel room before he calls her. They’re in Indianapolis, two more shows until Chicago. She picks up on the second ring.

wanted to be your by
provetheworst, R, Patrick/Pete
It's wonderful and sweet and this is Patrick and Pete in their glory.
As he's about to leave, Pete says, "You know, if you wanted to hang out that bad, you could have just called. I gave you my number, right?"
"I don't think so," Patrick says, looking through his cell phone. "Oh, wait, you're -- did you put your own number in here, Wentzinator?"
"Yes," Pete says.
"Okay."

hope you survive the experience by
iphignia939, R, Pete/Patrick Brendon/Ryan Gerard/Frank
This is a series of stories set in the X-Men universe. Yes, I typed that correctly and yes, it's brilliant. You don't even need to be an X-Men fan to love these you just will because you'll have no other choice.
"Uh huh." Gabe nodded. "Does he know it's a date?"
Pete looked at him. Gabe looked back.
"I -- he has to," Pete said after a minute. Patrick couldn't see his face from here, but he honestly sounded confused. "I wasn't wearing a shirt when I asked him, we're seeing a movie, we're out with two other couples--"
Slowly, quiet as possible, Patrick stood up from behind the change machine.
"Yeah," Gabe said, not really unkindly. There was a difference, if you listened for it. "You're kind of stupid, you know that?" He nodded at Patrick. "I mean, he knows it, so at least no one's going into this surprised at this point, right?"

Wednesday Night Boys by
arsenicjade , NC-17, Bob/Spencer Jon/Brendon/Ryan
Yes, I know, this story is probably not as high as you expected it to be but that doesn't mean I don't love it and think it awesome and okay? It introduced me to Spencer and Bob and that made my world complete, if only for a little while, lol, so yes, not as high as expected maybe but you know see number one. Great story.
He told Ryan, "I said you didn't owe me."
Ryan said, "I don't know what you're talking about," and acted like he couldn't hear Brendon whenever he tried discussing it further.
So Brendon took another route and told Spencer on him.

The Florist by
flash_indie, PG, Brendon/Ryan
I know this is one of the weirdest and strangest AU out there but still I was touched and I loved it and whenever I want nice and loving and lovely Brendon and Ryan I go to this story. It's like my rebound fic.
“I practically throw myself at him, and he just, he doesn’t answer, he says fuck all, I mean, I just asked him out and-“
“Brendon,” Spencer interrupts, sighs, his eyes dart around the street, and maybe he shouldn’t be saying this. “Brendon, Ryan was in an accident when he was a baby.”
“And then he - What?”
“Brendon,” Spencer says, and he runs a fisted hand over his forehead, “Brendon, Ryan’s deaf.”

Lines in the Sand (are meant to be crossed) by
iamtheenemy R, Brendon/Ryan Spencer/Jon
Very sweet, very lovely with just the right amount of angst in it that keeps me coming back for more, and more, and more and I adore it.
Spencer pressed the buzzer that read Walker/Urie. They didn’t have to wait more than a few seconds before Jon’s tinny voice came through the speaker with the sounds of music and laughter behind it.
“Spencer Smith, it better be you!”
Spencer leaned towards the speaker. “How many people have you said that to today?”
“Today?” Jon responded. “That’s how I answer the door every day.”
“It’s true!” a voice cried out in the background.
“I’m an eternal optimist, Spencer,” Jon said.

the first rule of broom-wielding by
skoosiepants, PG-13, Pete/Patrick Bob/Joe Frank/Gerard Brendon/Spencer
So funny, so good, so amazing! This is one of those stories that you could tell by the summary alone it was going to be great and it was and it is.
“Pete wanted his mom to meet Patrick,” Ray offered.
“Yes,” Bob said slowly, because they all knew that. Pete had been particularly vocal about that point. “Yes, we all knew that, Ray.”
Ray bobbed his head. “Okay. Just saying. I don’t think Patrick knew that.”
Mikey, slightly more awake, said, “Patrick doesn’t know they’re dating.”
“Pete hasn’t told him that yet,” Gerard put in around a yawn. He scrubbed a hand through his hair, black strands sticking up everywhere.

it may be a side effect of the exposure, but i am thinking it's meant to be by
thirdonebetween , PG-13, Pete/Patrick
It's highschool!fic and it's awesome. And wonderful and brilliant and when I first read this story I knew I was going to love it forever and ever. And I do.
“I just don’t get it,” Patrick had said, “it” being the fact that Pete has apparently disappeared off the face of the planet.
“It’s like this,” Joe says, tweaking the strings on his guitar. They’re sitting on Patrick’s bedroom floor, kind of jamming and kind of talking about relationships like girls. “Pete, you know, he’s pretty fucked up, yeah? I mean, he’s an awesome dude, and we love him, but he’s fucked up. And then he’s also basically in love with you, and so he’s probably off freaking out and trying to figure out how to keep you from ever leaving him short of locking you in his basement.”
“He… doesn’t actually have to try that hard,” Patrick says, rolling his eyes.
“Well, yeah.” Joe bites a pick between his teeth and talks around it while he tunes. “But, like. It’s important to him.”

Home is a Name by
arsenicjade , R, Frank/Gerard Mikey/Ray
I think why this is number one goes without saying, but I'll say something anyway - I'm like that, lol. Normally MCR is not my favourite band to read fic about, nothing personal or anything, I love the guys, you know, think they're great and all but I prefer FOB and etc music a tad more and PatrickandPete are my favourite couple ever. However I enjoyed this story so much more then words can explain and I just love it. This was It, that story that really introduced me into bandom and it'll always be so special to me because of that.
Ray looked at Gerard, "I'm not harassing your brother, all right? He said no, I'm laying off."
Gerard nodded. "That's totally workplace appropriate of you. However, as I have chosen to sexually harass my own employees, I feel that to persecute you for doing so would be somewhat hypocritical of me. I try to avoid hypocrisy."
"That's, um, big of you, but he still said no, Gerard."
"Yeah, about that." Gerard tilted his head. "Frank and I agree that his commitment to loneliness is unhealthy. And Frank has a social worker degree. He knows these things."
Frank nodded solemnly.
There is a lot more that deserve mention but as I was trying to challenge myself, lol, and have a list they didn't get mentioned (okay so at first this was totally going to be a top twenty list but no, I wanted to be strong, wanted to challenge myself, blah blah).
