A funny, witty comedy of errors.
Karsten is a young gay man who plans on a foreign trip with his friends but his hopes are dashed by his conniving father who has lost his driving license. Karsten is then forced to drive his father around to ensure he meets his sales appointments.
Karstens father is also having problems at work when a new younger sales rep Steven appears on the scene and threatens to take his sales with a new range of modern clothing.
And things only get worse, Wolfgang is obsessed with his new car he can't afford, he and his wife are fighting, short of money Wolfgang starts to spend Karstens college fund, Erika his wife is being talked into divorce by her friends and to top it all off a chance meeting between Steven and Karsten results in a mutual attraction between the two men that flares up into love.
Everything comes to a head with a hilarious action sequence of car crashes, flying bullets, naked men running around, theft, fights and confessions.
Altogether a fantastic film with amazing comedic timing. All the writing comes together beautifully with wonderfully directed shots. There isn't a bad actor in the bunch right from the main cast through to the secondary characters with only a few lines. Florian Bartholomai who plays Karsten is utterly adorable and has an amazing ability to look both innocent and knowledgeable at the same time. The chemistry between Karsten and Steven is an absolute fire, everytime Steven looks at Karsten he practically eats him up with his eyes.
This is a German film and the Dvd comes with English subtitles but don't let put you off.
