At the beginning of this year, I was released from my employer, the Boston Bean Counters, for a couple of reasons, the ones they gave, and the real ones. The ones they gave were "numbers" and that my boss felt that he was the only one who could close any big deal for me. The real one is that they wanted to avoid paying $20K to $30K commissions. Doing Tech service (which is as close as I get to sales) for a company you believe in is soo satisfying. I think the change in confidence and demeinor reads through to the customers and makes the job easy and fun. Which translates to greater success. More confidence and greater sales. Yay for positive snow balls.
