Sometimes it takes that +5 Cluebat to the back of the skull to make you see things you didn't want to see. I know I've been enlightened that way in regards to Jackass Ex (that asshat).
Why is it so important to date right now, anyway? When I moved to Corvallis that was the last thing on my mind...especially when Paul started coming down to hang out. I honestly didn't think anything would come of it, since he was seeing someone at the time, and I really wasn't sure a relationship with him would actually GO anywhere. I'm rambling because it's early, but just know that it's the unexpected relationships that turn out to be the most satisfying, because you don't have any expectations or baggage to weigh you down.
It's always a bad situation when you're with a couple; it's hard not to think of yourself as being the third wheel. I suppose you could leave if they wanted to have sex in your apartment, but then you're pretty much giving them all the power when it's your place and therefore you have a say as well.
And if it were me in your shoes, I'd tell the boyfriend to call a cab.
*nod nods* The only caveat is that I'm starting to get to know his boyfriend, and he's a very nice guy. And I want them to be together so that they both can be happy. I just hope they understand that I can't be around them all the time when they're being lovey-dovey.
And I'm willing to help the boy out now and again with a car ride, but I'm not going to let myself be locked into driving him home each time. There will be nights when I'll ask him to catch the last bus/call a cab.
