Cheers (The Final Entry)

Sep 02, 2016 23:13

So, taking a break from packing (long story) to do a post up, seeing as how I have now finished all 11 seasons of Cheers! I started it, what, how many years ago? Stopped, started again, stopped for ages, started again... Anyways, this summer, I picked it back up and polished off seasons 9-11 (possibly season 8 as well... I can't remember now, haha ( Read more... )

ship: sam/diane, *procrastination, tv: cheers, #irrelevant rambling

Repeat after me: There is no statute of limitations on spoilers. There is no statute of limitations on spoilers.

For example: http://jackwabbit.livejournal.com/771856.html

So, yes. Always warn. Always.

And being I haven't seen the last episode of Cheers, I skipped the end of this, but just wanted to say hi and that Fraiser is a great show (seen more of that than Cheers here).

Oh, and more yes. Stranger Things is wonderful.

That's all. :)

Haha!! Well, I figured just for how I personally deal with things. If I start a new (to me) show, I stay away from all fic and fandom until I'm done/caught up, generally, because I want to discover it on my own. A certain level of spoilers is unavoidable and I'm certainly not going to fault someone for saying something about a show that's 5, 10, 20, years old. XD But I figure I should warn anyways for anyone like me who might come along.

I've some shows I want to get to first, but I defs will get to Fraiser eventually. It's on my list!

RIGHT!? SO GOOOOD. I binged it so fast and loved every minute of it. :D

I feel that way about Frasier. I think I've been watching S3 for about a year now and there's the same number of seasons! Good on you for finishing.

Ah, I'll get to Fraiser eventually!! I quite enjoyed his character on Cheers and have always wanted to watch it.

I tend to binge/watch in weird patterns - sometimes I binge a lot really quickly, then I set certain shows aside for a time to watch other stuff, and eventually circle back around. Or like, I don't even touch Netflix for a few months then use it everyday for a week. *shrug*

Now that I'm done Cheers, I'm going to find another "light" show from my expansive "to watch" list and balance out Teen Wolf (s4), and Orphan Black (s4) and Person of Interest (s5). XD

I cheated and started with Frasier, I've never seen Cheers. !

Binging can be a weird beast. But I do agree it's very good to supplement the heavy stuff with a light show you can watch without feeling so weighed down and obligated.
