Women from the Past, Part VII

This isn't about a specific woman, it's about me ... and the women in my life. I look back over the sweep of this blog and a few others, and sometimes it's just not a pretty picture. I realize I am often not as in the right as I feel; sometimes I have even been cruel. I think I fundamentally lack empathy sometimes. This shouldn't be a surprise,
