Oh, this is one of my absolute favourite ever fics. Wonderfully written - I've always had this strange image as Molly Weasley being John's mother for some reason, and then when I read his father as being 'Arthur' I just grinned to myself and let my mind wander where it will because it seemed to fit. I think that Sherlock is very in character, which is difficult to do in such a situation, so well done. Gorgeous, gorgeous piece. I seriously hope you write the visit to Mummy - would Love to see that!
