She passed at 10:34 this morning. We had decided that with everything cascading downward, the kindest thing to do was to let her go. We were waiting for a dilaudid drip, to make sure she felt no discomfort what-so-ever, and then we were going to turn down the one med that was keeping her pressure up and heart going. That's what I think was waiting for her.
For those of us left behind, the pain of loss must be endured. It is a terrible and painful battle. You will always miss her but as time goes by you will find yourself hurting less, loving more, and yes. Still missing.
This of all times is one that I regret being so far away. You second family, one that loves you no less than your first, is here for you in what manner we can be.
I know all too well that at the moment it does not seem that way, but trust your Kolya when he says, "It'll be alright, Love."
