Yeah, as with any big city, I'll be careful to always go out with friends at night. We're staying in a part of town that caters to college students during the year, so most of the streets (and the metro stops) are well-lit and patroled by policemen. I think the buddy system is key! :)

Umm, well...how's this for a pick-up scheme...not so much a line...Step one, stay close to Margaret. Step two, direct meaningful looks at Margaret, then yourself when any hot guy approaches. Most guys will get the point and start making comparisons pretty quick. From then on, you're golden. (Kidding Margaret. I love you. No, really. Of course, I'm old, bald, fat, and ugly, so my opinion doesn't _really_ matter anyway.:)
